Again it takes getting up in the morning to get a shot sometimes. This one I hunted down. I just knew the light this morning was going to be spectacular..the crisp air, the approach of Fall and the broken cumulus clouds. All that makes for a good photo is you can find the right location. I drove around a bit and thought I’d check the lake and low and behold a thin layer of mist was still wasping around on the surface and I hurried down to the beach to find just the right angle and then this is what I got. I did HDR this, which of course brought out the intensity a bit, but the individual frames started off pretty wonderful themselves.
